Notes: Claudia Octavia was a Roman empress, the daughter of Emperor Claudius and Valeria Messalina. Following her mother's death and her father's subsequent marriage to her cousin, Agrippina the Younger, Octavia became stepsister and later the wife of Nero. Although popular among the Romans, Octavia despised her marriage with Nero. Facing public backlash over her banishment after Nero's mistress, Poppaea Sabina, became pregnant, Nero eventually had Octavia executed.
