  • Notes: Serapis was a combination of the traditional Egyptian gods Osiris and Apis, presented as a bearded Greek man wearing Egyptian clothing. The deity was used to blend Greek and Egyptian religious traditions under the Ptolemaic dynasty, and remained in use when Egypt came under Roman control as well.
